Terms of service
Who can use playBops
- Parent accounts are for adults (18+). A parent or guardian creates each child's profile and is responsible for how the child uses playBops.
- Children use playBops through the world their parent set up, on a device the parent paired.
- Bops Lab (playbops.com/lab) is for learners 13 and up, who may create their own account.
Games made with the Bops helper
- Games are built with AI help and checked by automated tests before a child sees them. They can still contain mistakes: please tell us, and we'll fix or remove them.
- You approve what goes on your child's journey. Nothing is added or paid for without you.
Sharing to the library
- When you share a game, other families can play and remix it, and your first name is shown as its author. You can ask us to remove a game you shared.
- Don't share anything that names or shows your children, or anything you don't have the right to share. We block games that mention your kids' nicknames.
Paid plans
- Paid plans (for example Bops Lab Plus) are billed through our payment partner. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
- Prices and what's included are shown before you pay.
Fair use
- No trying to break, overload or misuse the service, or to reach other families' data.
- We may suspend accounts that put children or the service at risk.
Your data
Our privacy policy explains what we keep and how you can download or delete it. You can delete your account at any time from Parent Studio → Settings.
The service
playBops is provided as it is, and it may change as we improve it. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell parents by email before the change applies.
